The Teen Project LA Chapter has a simple vision: show up for the girls living at the Los Angeles Teen Project home, reminding them that they are seen, loved and bring them joy.
This volunteer opportunity is for high school girls and their moms, this is a no-pressure, all-inclusive group looking for volunteers who can provide support when and where you can. A range of volunteer opportunities are available from leadership roles, on-site connections, event planning and fundraising.

Carol's Sanctuary, located in Van Nuys, is a residential treatment program supporting transitional-age young women who have endured human trafficking, homelessness, or struggles with addiction. Many are refugees from foster care with no safe home to return to—and The Teen Project gives them the chance to heal, rebuild, and create a brighter future.

Carol's Sanctuary provides 24 beds for at-risk young women, complete with a brand-new kitchen, warmly decorated rooms, a welcoming backyard, and a full daily healing program. We’ve set up dates and times for small groups from our LA Chapter to visit, meet the girls, and meet with the incredible people who run the home—it's worth a visit to feel the connection to our cause.

The young women at Carol's Sanctuary receive the tools they need to rebuild their lives—from therapy and high school diplomas to vocational training through community grants. Our chapter is dedicated to supporting this home, bringing joy, and reminding each young woman that she is seen, loved, and full of hope.
